Paint Protection Film in Purcellville
XPEL paint protection film with a 10-year warranty. Protect your car's paint from rock chips, road debris, and everyday wear.

Keep Your Paint Looking New with XPEL PPF
Auto paint protection film is a clear, durable urethane layer applied to your car's painted surfaces to absorb rock chips, road debris, and minor scratches before they reach the paint. If you commute on Route 7 or Route 50 through Loudoun County, you know how fast gravel and loose debris can chew up a front bumper.
XPEL paint protection film self-heals from light swirl marks and is backed by a 10-year warranty, so your vehicle stays looking new for years.

See PPF PackagesHow We Install Your PPF
Three clear steps from the minute you arrive to the minute you pick up.
Inspect & Design
We inspect your vehicle, identify the high-impact areas, and choose a coverage plan that matches how you drive. Patterns are selected for your exact year, make, and model.
Prep & Pattern
Your paint is washed, decontaminated, and dried in a filtered bay. We load the pattern into our plotter and cut the XPEL film so nothing gets trimmed with a blade on your paint.
Install & Wrap
The film is applied with a slip solution and squeegeed into place. We wrap edges wherever the panel allows, then inspect every panel for bubbles, lint, and alignment.
Why Purcellville Drivers Choose Huck and Company for PPF
XPEL Authorized Dealer
We're an authorized XPEL dealer, which means XPEL stands behind the film we install. The 10-year warranty is only valid when an authorized dealer does the work.
10-Year Warranty
XPEL backs their film with a 10-year warranty against yellowing and peeling, so your investment is protected for the long haul.
Self-Healing Film
Light scratches and swirl marks in the top coat disappear with heat from the sun or warm water, keeping the finish looking new.
Controlled Environment
Every PPF job happens in our filtered installation bay. A single piece of lint trapped under PPF is there for the life of the film, so we don't cut corners on the room.
How PPF Works
The Film
Paint protection film is a clear, flexible urethane layer that goes on top of your factory paint. The material is roughly 8 mils thick, thin enough to be invisible from a few feet away but thick enough to absorb the impact of a stone kicked up at highway speed. Modern XPEL film has self-healing properties: when light scratches or swirl marks show up in the top coat, heat from the sun or a cup of warm water makes them disappear. The film is optically clear, so it won't change your paint color, and it resists yellowing far better than the films from the early 2000s that gave PPF a bad reputation.
The Installation
Installation starts with a computer-cut pattern matched to your exact vehicle, so nothing gets trimmed with a blade on your paint. We apply the film with a slip solution and squeegee it into place, wrapping the edges wherever the panel allows so you can't see the line.
PPF vs. Ceramic Coating
PPF and ceramic coating protect your car in different ways, and the right choice depends on what you're trying to prevent.
PPF
PPF is a physical barrier. It takes the hit when a rock flies off the truck in front of you, and the self-healing top layer erases light scratches on its own. It carries a 10-year warranty through XPEL, but it costs more because the material and installation labor both run higher.
Ceramic Coating
Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that bonds to your paint and creates a chemical barrier against UV damage and acidic contaminants like bird droppings and tree sap. It's hydrophobic, so water beads off and washing takes less effort. The warranty runs 8 years, and the price comes in lower than PPF.
You don't have to pick one. A common setup is PPF on the front end where impacts happen, with ceramic coating on the rest of the car for chemical protection. See our ceramic coating page for details on that service.
